ZCh Police initially had PLN 47 million of consolidated net profit in Q4 2021

Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne Police (ZCh Police) posted PLN 47m in consolidated net profit in Q4 2021 vs. PLN 77m profit a year earlier, the company announced, presenting preliminary data. The operating profit initially amounted to PLN 65 million (compared to PLN 25 million profit a year earlier), and the EBITDA result reached PLN 99 million (compared to PLN 47 million profit a year earlier).

“In Q4 2021, the issuer generated consolidated sales revenues of PLN 1,002 million and an EBITDA result of PLN 99 million, with an EBITDA margin of 9.9%. Business segments in Q4 2021 generated positive EBITDA, reflecting high demand for products. The fourth quarter of 2021 is a period of increase in the sales prices of fertilizers caused by rapid and very dynamic increases in the prices of the main raw materials for the production of fertilizers, especially natural gas, as well as phosphate rock and potassium salt, which created an unprecedented, rapid increase in production costs "- we read in the message.

The Grupa Azoty Group ranks second in the EU in the production of nitrogen and compound fertilizers, and products such as melamine, caprolactam, polyamide, OXO alcohols and titanium white also have a strong position in the chemical sector, being used in many industries. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 10.52 billion in 2020.
