XTB has hired Tomasz Gawron as head of AI – he will manage the newly established department as part of the team responsible for product and technologies and will focus on the implementation of technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI) both in business processes and in the investment platform and mobile application , the company reported.
“The Head of AI is responsible for creating and managing a team that works on preparing and implementing a strategy for implementing modern, innovative technologies based on artificial intelligence. His most important tasks include monitoring and analyzing modern AI solutions and identifying the possibilities of their implementation in both current and future products offered by XTB,” we read in the announcement.
“As a fintech with a global customer base, we want to be at the forefront of our industry when it comes to innovation and implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. Head of AI is a new position at XTB that is responsible for accelerating the pace at which we implement advanced technologies. We see them not only as a way to improve efficiency, data analysis, onboarding and customer support processes, but also as a way to increase the efficiency of our employees,” said Adam Dubiel, chief product & technology officer at XTB, quoted in the release.
Effective implementation of modern technologies requires, first of all, concentration on the operational aspects of these solutions, which is why the AI team at XTB will be responsible for prototyping and testing AI-based products and processes to ensure their high quality, consistency and compliance with the company’s strategic goals. The team’s task will also be to track current trends and AI technologies, as well as share this knowledge and educate XTB employees so that they are able to use the latest technologies in their daily work, taking into account potential regulatory restrictions.
“I am glad that I became part of the most dynamically developing fintech in Poland. The development of our own technology and the introduction of solutions using artificial intelligence, which will aim to expand access to optimal investment solutions, is an extremely inspiring vision of work. I believe that thanks to the use of modern technologies, XTB will become a global leader among investment platforms,” said Gawron.
