Wielton will receive up to PLN 20 million of suppoert from the Łódź SEX for a new investment in the comune of Wieluń

Wielton will receive support from the Łódź Special Economic Zone for a new investment in Wieluń and the towns of Urbanice and Widoradz, Wieluń commune, the company said. The maximum possible amount of public aid for the company will be PLN 20 million.

"As part of the new investment, which will consist in the expansion and modernization of the machinery and technology park, reorganization of the currently implemented production processes, reconstruction of the existing and construction of new facilities supporting production functions, as well as the expansion of the necessary supporting infrastructure, the company intends to increase the production capacity of the existing plant" - we read in the announcement.

According to the conditions set out in the decision on support, Wielton would incur eligible costs in the area of ​​the new investment in the total amount of PLN 50 million, with the expenditure of PLN 45 million being incurred by December 31, 2027, and the expenditure of PLN 5 PLN million related to the lease of real estate - until December 31, 2032, it was also indicated.

Due to the size of the entrepreneur and the location of the new investment, the maximum intensity of regional aid granted to the entrepreneur is 40%, therefore the maximum possible amount of public aid for the company will be PLN 20 million.

The decision on support was issued for a definite period of 15 years, it has been completed.

Wielton is the largest producer and seller of semi-trailers and trailers in Poland, and one of the leading players in this sector in Europe. The company debuted on the WSE in 2007. Consolidated revenues reached PLN 2.7 billion in 2021.
