Wielton recorded PLN 47.25 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2021 compared to PLN 31.11 million of profit a year earlier, the company said in the report. The operating profit amounted to PLN 79.29 million compared to PLN 37.02 million profit a year earlier. The EBITDA result was respectively: PLN 144.46 million compared to PLN 96.04 million a year earlier. Consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 2 696.42 million in 2021 compared to PLN 1,817.3 million a year earlier. “Russia's invasion of Ukraine may have an impact on our financial results this year. We decided to suspend deliveries to Russia, one of our strategic markets last year (as of February 24 this year, none of the group's products went there). We also temporarily suspended our operations in Ukraine. Therefore, we do not rule out the need to create impairment losses on assets. Due to the unforeseeable development of events, the level of the necessary write-offs will be determined at the time of publication of periodic reports, ”wrote President Paweł Szataniak in a letter attached to the annual report. On a standalone basis, the net profit in 2021 amounted to PLN 36.71 million compared to PLN 27.93 million profit a year earlier.
