The Danish company has received an order from Eurowind Energy to supply wind turbines with a total capacity of 70 MW for three wind farms in Poland.
The value of the order has not been disclosed. Vestas turbines are to be installed on the Żnin / Damasławek, Pniewy and Mieścisko farms. They are all located in Wiekopolski region.
Vestas is to deliver and install a total of 34 V100 turbines with a capacity of 2.0 MW or 2.2 MW each by the fourth quarter of 2022.
The CEO of Eurowind Energy, Jens Rasmussen, emphasized that the order for turbines is proof of the company’s commitment to the Polish market.
Poland is one of our main markets and will be in the foreseeable future – he said.
