V-Ridium changed name to Greenvolt and focuses on windmills , PV and energy storage

V-Ridium, a company that is part of the Greenvolt Group, has undergone rebranding and is now strengthening its activities as a developer of the solar and wind energy sector in Poland and internationally as Greenvolt Power. Currently, the company is involved in photovoltaic farm projects with a total capacity of 1,107.5 MW, wind farms with a total capacity of 798.6 MW and energy storage projects in Poland with a total capacity of approximately 1,400 MW.

“Since joining the Greenvolt group, we have been dynamically developing our international presence: we develop, acquire, build and manage assets in, among others: Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Italy, France, Great Britain, Portugal, Spain in Iceland, Mexico and the United States. We are currently preparing projects and building photovoltaic and wind power plants with a capacity of several to several hundred megawatts, which we locate on agricultural or industrial areas of many hectares. In addition, there is a wide portfolio of energy storage projects with a total capacity of approximately 1,400 MW in Poland,” said Radosław Nowak, CEO of Greenvolt Power, quoted in the release.

This year, Greenvolt initiated the construction of renewable energy projects in Poland with a total capacity of 59 MW, divided into wind, solar and storage energy. Both assets are expected to be sold in 2023.
