After 11 months of 2021, the sum of funds collected in equity crowdfunding by companies cooperating with Crowdway exceeded PLN 35 million. This is almost PLN 10 million more than in the entire 2020. The record year is not over yet. Issue of shares in Kombinat Konopny and Funwisher is planned for December. In total, Crowdway has already supported dozens of issuers in collecting over PLN 80 million from the market.
The amounts obtained thanks to equity crowdfunding are growing every year. In 2017 and 2018, each year the value of capital raised by issuers supported by the Crowdway platform oscillated around PLN 4 million, in 2019 it more than doubled, to PLN 10.8 million. In 2020, another record increase was recorded – up to PLN 25.6 million. This year, the companies have collected a total of over PLN 35 million.
Currently, Crowdway supports communication, among others the issue of All Good SA, the owner of the coffee omnichannel Coffeedesk, which has already collected nearly PLN 2 million in its second issue of shares. The second issue of the Hemp Combine, which again chose Crowdway as a partner, will start soon. December also starts the issue of Funwisher, which develops personalized films and cartoons based on the licenses of the most famous titles in the world.
“Investors appreciate projects that already generate income, and offer an exit from the investment within up to three years. In summary, 2021 was marked by online businesses, hemp and craft companies. Successful exits from investments will be crucial for the further development of the market in the next year, and in 2022, several companies announce their debuts on the stock exchange” – says Marcel Rowiński, President of the Management Board of Crowdway.
