Unimot plans to complete work on the new strategy for 2024-2028 by the end of the year

Unimot has started work on the group’s new strategy for 2024-2028 and wants to finalize it by the end of this year, ISBnews CEO Adam Sikorski told ISBnews.

“We previously assumed that in the middle of the year we would present the strategy for the newly acquired logistics assets, but in the course of work it turned out that before the end of 2023 we should be able to develop a new strategy for the entire Unimot Group for 2024-2028, and the terminal part will be just part of this big strategy,” Sikorski told ISBnews.

At the same time, he assured that on the basis of the first months of operation in the group of logistics assets acquired together with Lotos Terminale, Unimot maintains its earlier declarations that these assets will bring PLN 70-100 million of additional EBITDA to the group annually.

“Not so long ago we hoped that in 2024 it would be an even higher amount, but the more difficult environment makes these PLN 70-100 million a good result. However, I do not see any threat to its implementation next year,” added the president.

Unimot specializes in trading diesel oil, biofuels, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas (including LNG) and electricity. As a member of the international association Avia International, since 2017 he has been developing a network of petrol stations in Poland under the Avia brand. In 2020, the company entered the photovoltaics market with the Avia Solar brand. In March 2017, the company debuted on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange after switching from NewConnect; is included in the sWIG80 index. The company had PLN 13.37 billion in consolidated revenue in 2022.
