The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has signed a contract for the project of a 32-kilometer section of the A2 motorway between Biała Podlaska and the state border. This is the last missing part of this route.
The contractor for the investment is the company Mosty Gdańsk. The contract worth approx. PLN 9.8 million will be performed within 30 months from the date of its conclusion. Completion of work related to the preparation of project documentation is expected in the second quarter of 2024.
Today’s contract for the design of a 30-kilometer section between Biała Podlaska and the state border brings us closer to closing the east-west connection on the A2 motorway. More than 100 km of A2 east of Warsaw is already under construction, said Tomasz Żuchowski, General Director for National Roads and Motorways.
