The ZUE consortium submitted the best offer for track work on the Romanian market

The consortium of ZUE and Drum Asfalt S.R.L based in Oradea (Romania) submitted the most advantageous bid in the tender procedure of a state-owned railway company in Romania. The value of the offer at the present stage of the procedure remains undisclosed, but the contracting authority's budget is the equivalent of approximately PLN 256 million.

The offer applies to the order entitled: "Quick Wins projects". Works related to the removal of speed limits in order to restore the technical parameters of the track surface - SRCF BRAOV (implementation) 21 parts - offer submitted for parts from 3-19 "- ZUE reported.

ZUE's share in the consortium is approximately 50%. The ordering party is the Romanian state railway company C.F.R. ARE. - Regional Branch of C.F. Brasov.

The contracting authority's budget for this task after conversion into the Polish currency is the equivalent of approximately PLN 256 million. Due to legal restrictions resulting from the tender procedures in force on the Romanian market, the information on the value of the submitted offer at the current stage of the tender procedure has been limited in terms of disclosure in the public space, ZUE explained.

The only criterion for evaluating offers in this tender is the price. Deadline for the task: 18 months from the date of signing the contract, also stated.

The main activity of the ZUE capital group is the design and implementation, in the formula of general contracting, of comprehensive construction and modernization services for tram and railway lines, along with accompanying infrastructure. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2010. Consolidated revenues of ZUE amounted to PLN 851.45 million in 2021.
