Wirtualna Polska Media (WPM) - a subsidiary of Wirtualna Polska Holding - has concluded an investment agreement regulating the terms of an indirect investment in Restaumatic, offering a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for restaurants, the Holding said. The value of the investment is approx. PLN 19.8 million. The investment will be made through an alternative investment company under the name Supercharge Capital Sp. z o.o. Deal Fund I ASI spółka komandytowa (fund), to which WPM will join as a limited partner under the conditions specified in the fund's investment agreement signed on April 4, 2022. In addition, in connection with the investment, WPM signed a shareholders' agreement regulating the mutual relations of Restaumatic shareholders, it was reported. "The total amount of the declared WPM contribution to the fund will be approx. PLN 19.8 million, which will correspond to 69.0% of the fund's capital contributions. At the moment of making the investment, the fund will hold approx. 16.9% of shares, entitling to approx. 16.9% of votes at the meeting of shareholders of Restaumatic ”- we read in the release. Restaumatic is a company offering a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that supports a comprehensive system for ordering, selling and managing restaurants. Almost 5,000 restaurateurs use its services. In 2021, Restaumatic achieved less than PLN 20 million in sales revenues and a positive EBITDA result, it was also indicated in the information. Wirtualna Polska Group is the owner of one of the two most popular horizontal web portals in Poland - Wirtualna Polska. It also runs the o2 horizontal portal and numerous specialized vertical portals, including in particular business portals - Money.pl and Biztok, portals related to new technologies - e.g. Dobreprogramy, portals related to sports - e.g. Sportowe Fakty, and entertainment portals - for example Pudelek.
