Anwim, the operator of the Polish network of Moya petrol stations, wants to take over the Dutch company The Fuel Company Holding – the issuer and operator of TFC fuel cards. Anwim has just signed a conditional purchase agreement for this company, and the transaction is expected to be finalized at the turn of 2021 and 2022.
TFC cards are accepted for over 8,000 stations in 18 European countries. The Anwim authorities explain that the purpose of the purchase is to offer the users of the Moya Firma fleet program the possibility of refueling throughout Europe, settlement of tolls and quick and simple VAT and excise duty refunds for fuel purchased abroad.
“The transport industry in our country is a real European power. Polish drivers are present on the roads of all countries of the Old Continent, and even further. In order to function efficiently, they need a uniform offer for the purchase of fuel and other services throughout Europe. Acquiring The Fuel Company Holding will allow us to significantly increase the range and expand the catalog of services for fleet customers”, said Paweł Grzywaczewski, board member of Anwim.
