In July, the Unimot Group opened its 122nd Avia petrol station in Łódź, the company announced. Since the beginning of the year, the network of Avia stations in Poland has grown by 16 facilities. The Swiss brand has been present on the Polish market for 6 years.
Apart from the station in Łódź, the Avia network also includes, among others: stations in Kraków, Tarnów, Plichowice and a transit station in Maliszewo on the national road No. 50. All of them are equipped with the Eat&Go gastronomic concept, as well as shop zones refined in terms of design and ergonomics, it was emphasized.
“We are constantly working very hard to include new facilities in the Avia service station network. We make every effort to adapt subsequent stations in terms of design and ergonomics, and to equip them with the Eat&Go catering concept. We are also developing cooperation with the Spar chain – stores of this brand are present at all Avia’s own stations, i.e. in over 30% of our network locations,” said Robert Nowek, managing director of the Avia network in Poland and Ukraine in the Unimot Group.
The network of Avia stations, developed by the Unimot Group, currently has 122 facilities throughout Poland. The stations operate mainly in medium and small towns. Avia is also expanding its operations to include the largest agglomerations and tourist destinations – the stations operate, among others, in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, Wrocław, Lublin and Zakopane, and recently also in Łódź.
Unimot specializes in trading diesel oil, biofuels, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas (including LNG) and electricity. As a member of the international association Avia International, since 2017 he has been developing a network of petrol stations in Poland under the Avia brand. In 2020, the company entered the photovoltaics market with the Avia Solar brand. In March 2017, the company debuted on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange after switching from NewConnect; is included in the sWIG80 index. The company had PLN 13.37 billion in consolidated revenue in 2022.
