Beer industry leader Kompania Piwowarska focuses on renewables and green production

KP aims to boost its non-alcoholic products to 20% by 2030.

One of the most important goals of Kompania Piwowarska is to achieve neutrality in terms of carbon dioxide emissions in breweries and to cooperate with partners in reducing the carbon footprint in the entire supply chain – by 30% by 2030.

The company wants to reduce water consumption in its three breweries, use only circular economy packaging and source the raw materials used to brew beer in a sustainable manner. It also focuses on the openness and diversity of its teams – by 2030, the share of women and men among senior management is to be equal.

“In 2020 Kompania Piwowarska undertook many activities in the field of sustainable development” – says Igor Tikhonov, President of Kompania Piwowarska. – Our company uses a lot of natural resources, such as water and crops, and we must use these resources responsibly. This is why all our breweries and logistics focus on the efficient use of water, energy, transport and raw materials.

Kompania Piwowarska’s new strategy called Better Future 2030 covers four areas: Planet, People, Portfolio and Profit. By 2030, the company has ambitious goals to reduce its environmental footprint and promote diversity in the workplace.
