The Atlas Group plans approx. PLN 100 million of investments and the development of the PV project in 2023

The Atlas Group estimates that in 2023 it will invest approx. PLN 100 million in its plants and IT systems, and will continue work on photovoltaic farms producing energy for its own needs, which will cost approx. PLN 50 million over the next 2 years, he informed ISBnews CEO Pawel Kisiel.

“We look at investments in the long term and multilaterally. The automation and robotization program aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of production is of dominant importance to us. We are also encouraged to do so by certain trends in the labor market and demographic trends. In 2023, we will enter the third year of implementing an extensive investment program in which we automate not only production lines, but also warehouses. The modernization of production lines takes place in all our largest plants - in Bydgoszcz, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Zgierz and Piotrków Trybunalski. In the latter plant, we will also be finishing the warehouse automation process next year. We will also carry out a similar process at the plant in Zgierz. We also plan to invest in a production plant abroad, in Romania, where we intend to invest in modern technological lines and adapt the existing industrial property for our purposes. Consistently, we will allocate a large part of our capital expenditures to information technology. The investment budget within our capital group is not closed, but we estimate that next year it will reach the level of about PLN 100 million, said Kisiel in an interview with ISBnews.

Atlas is a capital group made up of several business entities - manufacturers of building materials, as well as producers of raw materials for their production. The Group is a leader on the Polish market of construction chemicals and successfully operates also outside Poland. It offers several hundred products, including complex technological systems.
