Ten Square Games is actively talking about acquisitions, but is not expecting a deal this year

Ten Square Games (TSG) is "actively talking" about acquisitions, but does not expect any transaction to be closed by the end of this year, CEO Maciej Zużałek said. He stressed that TSG is also in contact with larger companies, but is not currently planning to review its strategic options.

“We are actively looking at potential M&A. There are very interesting companies we talk to. I would not say that there is something urgent to be concluded this year. But we are talking to very interesting companies, ”said President Maciej Zużałek.

“We build trust in our ability to look for interesting companies that could become part of the TSG group and try to help this company think differently, change products so that they can develop better. So we continue to selectively view M&A. There is nothing in the near future, however, ”he added.

He pointed out that since last year TSG has been conducting extensive communication with companies from the industry.

“Last year's talks with many market players opened the door for communication between us. We have a lot of discussions. But I think it's a very important thing for TSG to focus on results right now, and that's what we do. So we are not going into any kind of review of strategic options etc. We are in contact with many companies, with several different larger companies, but also with dozens of smaller companies, ”said the president.

He also announced a review of the company's achievements to date - at the beginning of next year.

"I think that sometime in the beginning of 2023 there will be a key moment for us, in which we will look at what we have achieved, where we have achieved success, what it means for future development," said Zużałek.

Ten Square Games is one of the largest producers and publishers of mobile and browser games in Poland. The company was founded in 2011 by Maciej Popowicz and Arkadiusz Pernal - the creators of the Nasza Klasa community portal (nk.pl), who introduced free-to-play games to it. The company made its debut on the WSE in May 2018.
