Tauron plans a slightly higher y // y capex in 2022

Tauron's investment outlays will be slightly higher y / y in 2022, Krzysztof Surma, vice president for finance, informed ISBnews. The main driver of the growth in outlays will be the area of ​​renewable energy sources, while outlays in distribution will be stable y / y.

“Investment outlays will be slightly higher than last year, mainly with an emphasis on renewable energy. Expenditure on renewable energy will be significantly higher than in previous years, with particular emphasis on the construction of new sources, "Surma said in an interview with ISBnews on the sidelines of the European Economic Congress in Katowice. In previous years, the group incurred expenditure on renewable energy primarily in the field of acquisitions, and this year it plans to spend large amounts on the construction of new capacities.

In 2021, Tauron's capital expenditure amounted to PLN 2.9 billion.
