The Stokrotka chain of stores has opened a distribution center in Teresin in the Mazowieckie voivodship for over 34,000 sq m. m2 of space, the company said. The center supplies around 400 Stokrotka stores with groceries. The investment will also support the newly opened branches, of which there will be approximately 150 this year. The new, larger distribution center in Teresin will replace the existing warehouse. The investment in the expansion of the logistics system is related to the dynamic development of the chain and store openings planned for the coming years. “In 2021, we opened 102 Stokrotka stores, thanks to which at the end of the year it was possible to shop in over 800 of our stores across the country. This year, we plan to further accelerate the development of the network and add approximately 150 new Stokrotka to it. Thanks to an effective logistics system, which includes a new distribution center, we can plan further development. The effectiveness of this element is particularly important to us, as it provides our customers with constant access to fresh products, which we place special emphasis on in our offer, ”said Daria Raganowicz, PR and external communication specialist, Stokrotka, quoted in the release. Powstała w 1994 r. Stokrotka swoim zasięgiem obejmuje ponad 800 sklepów zlokalizowanych w całej Polsce. Od 2018 r. wchodzi w skład litewskiej grupy handlowej Maxima. Source
