The Spire Capital Partners I (SCP) fund has launched, raising €57m from investors, the fund said. The target value of the fund is to be EUR 100 million. SCP will invest in controlling stakes of companies from EUR 7 to 20 million in one transaction, it was reported.
“Spire Capital Partners targets above-average returns by investing at the intersection of two very attractive market segments: high-growth digital companies coupled with the value-creation potential of scaling and professionalizing that is typical of smaller businesses. We will support entrepreneurs in the challenges related to the growing scale and complexity of their companies, bringing many years of experience in investing in the digital space as well as previous consulting and operational experience in the field of strategy and organization development, mergers and acquisitions, recruitment and optimization of business processes,” said SCP partner Krzysztof Konopiński, quoted in the communiqué.
The successful launch of the first SCP Fund I fund in a difficult environment of raising new capital proves the attractiveness of the market niche and investment strategy of SCP and is a positive verification of the previous achievements of the Spire Capital Partners team in generating returns for investors.
