Śnieżka-Ukraina resumed its operating activities

The CEO of Śnieżka-Ukraine has made a decision to restore the operational activity of this company, Fabryka Farb i Lakierów Śnieżka reported.

“The production plant of Śnieżka-Ukraina is still outside the current war zone, its assets have not been damaged, and the company has production capacity at the level from before the limitation of operations. Śnieżka-Ukraina will manage the production and sales volumes on an ongoing basis, adjusting them to the changing situation in Ukraine (as at the date of publication of the report, the production plant operates in one shift), ”reads the release.

Due to external factors and the current market situation (before the beginning of the so-called high season of selling paints and products for the protection and decoration of wood and metal), the management of Śnieżka is currently unable to estimate the impact of a temporary limitation in Śnieżka-Ukraine's operating activities and its operation in the near future on future results. Currently, however, a significant decrease in revenues and profits achieved on the local market should be assumed in the perspective of at least this year, it was also stated.

The temporary limitation of the operating activities of Śnieżka-Ukraine took place on February 25 this year.

Fabryka Farb i Lakierów Śnieżka is one of the leading manufacturers of paints and varnishes in Poland. In 2003, it made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Its factories are located in Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Hungary. In 2020, it had PLN 821 million of consolidated revenues.
