SFD buys 6 more stores in “bricks and mortar” expansion strategy

SFD S.A. signs contracts for the purchase of another 6 stores from the pool of 11 stationary stores covered by a conditional contract for the purchase of part of the enterprise. The Company is taking over six locations for the total amount of PLN 395,000 gross. As planned, the company continues work on the implementation of contracts for the remaining 3 stores.

“We can already see that expanding the network of brick-and-mortar stores is an effective way to attract new customers and encourage them to buy in e-commerce channels, where we have a wide offer in all product segments. Our chain of stores is also an accurate response to the purchasing needs of customers who visit shopping centers. Thanks to them, we also keep customers who previously made purchases via the Internet”, said Mateusz Pazdan, president of the board of SFD S.A. “The development of sales in large retail chains will also allow us to increase the group of customers using the entire e-commerce offer. I would also like to emphasize that in the event of tightening restrictions in shopping centers or stationary stores, we are able to handle the entire sales movement again through our e-commerce services.”

The subject of the Agreement is the purchase by SFD of a total of 11 own stores located in shopping malls, of which 8 stores have already been purchased, and the implementation of the remaining 3 agreements should be completed by the end of this year. The stores to be taken over will be stores run directly by the Company. During the lockdown period, the Company also developed a well-functioning franchise model and high standards of customer service. The network of stationary stores complements the basic sales model of the Company’s products, which are e-commerce channels, in particular own channels. In recent months, the company has also been successfully selling its leading products from the dietary food segment in retail chains in the in & out formula, which should ultimately transform into a permanent presence of SFD products on the shelves of stores throughout Poland.
