Sebastian Kulczyk no longer manages Kulczyk Investments.

Sebastian Kulczyk becomes the head of the Supervisory Board of Kulczyk Investments (KI) handing over the chair of the President of the Management Board to Dawid Jakubowicz, who in 2018-2023 held the position of CIO (Chief Information Officer) at KI, and for the last 5 years also managed Ciech. Jarosław Romanowski, a former member of the Ciech management board, who will be responsible for the finances of the KI Group, has also joined the management board.

– I am strengthening the KI team based on proven people with the highest competences who understand the goals and values of our Group. The task of the new board is to work out the target structure of KI’s asset portfolio. According to the strategy, we want to be the partner of first choice for development-oriented companies in the areas of biotechnology, SaaS products, modern energy technologies and top-class residential real estate – says Sebastian Kulczyk.

Who are the new members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board of Kulczyk Investments?
Dawid Jakubowicz, after more than ten years of managing the KI investment portfolio, took the position of the president of the management board of the Group. For the last five years, he successfully managed Ciech, one of KI’s key assets, thoroughly transforming the company and achieving record results.

The new management board is also composed of Jarosław Romanowski, an experienced financier with over 20 years of international experience in managing global organizations, as well as an expert in the field of trade, financing and project development. Jarosław Romanowski was the CFO of Ciech in 2020-2023.

The five-person supervisory board of KI was also strengthened by Marek Kośnik, who took the position of vice-chairman. He has been associated with the Group since 2019 as Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ciech. Marek Kośnik brings to the group experience in developing company strategies, investment management, restructuring activities and digital transformations. The new member of the know-how board gained e.g. at Bain & Company, Terra Firma Capital Partners, McKinsey & Company and Ciech.

In addition to Sebastian Kulczyk and Marek Kośnik, the KI Supervisory Board currently includes: Hugues Delcourt, an experienced banker and former CEO of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and ABN Amro, Hans Vanoorbeek with over 25 years of investor experience in the private equity market, and Wolfgang M. Fritz, Austrian attorney specializing in corporate, data protection, foundation and commercial law.
