Sanok Rubber sales bounce back 20% in 2021

Sanok Rubber recorded PLN 30.45 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2021 compared to PLN 36.22 million profit a year earlier, the company said .

The operating profit amounted to PLN 39.85 million compared to PLN 44.08 million profit a year earlier. The EBITDA result amounted to PLN 103.18 million compared to PLN 106.48 million a year earlier.

Consolidated sales revenues amounted to PLN 1,171.68 million in 2021 compared to PLN 976.07 million a year earlier.

“The group's sales in 2021 were higher than those achieved in 2020 by as much as 20% (i.e. by PLN 195.6 million). This is primarily the effect of a rebound after the terrible 2020, in which numerous restrictions and lockdowns introduced in many countries due to the SARS CoV-2 virus pandemic significantly limited trade between countries. Sales increased in all segments of the company's operations. The key segment of sales for the group is the automotive industry (almost 60% share in the total value of sales).

Sanok Rubber Company deals with the production of rubber, rubber-metal products and combinations of rubber with other plastics. The company is a producer of rubber compounds with a wide range of products for automotive, construction, agriculture, pharmacy and household appliances. It has been listed on the WSE since 1997. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 976 million in 2020.
