Redge Technologies: The Redge Media streaming platform was selected in the TVP tender

Telewizja Polska (TVP) selected Redge Media as a platform for its streaming services in the completed public tender, Redge Technologies reported. The contract for the provision of this service for Telewizja Polska was concluded for a period of 48 months.

The new platform will integrate the streaming services of Telewizja Polska in one environment. The solution provided by Redge Technologies consists of all modules necessary to provide comprehensive streaming services, including DAM (Digital Asset Manager), CMS (Content Management System) and integrated modules of the ad server, e-commerce, analytics and CRM. One of the key assumptions of the project is to support all relevant end devices - computers, tablets and smartphones as well as smart TVs - while maintaining a consistent and responsive user interface, it said.

"Consolidation of our streaming platforms is key and in line with the strategy of providing complete, high-quality services available to all Poles, which is why we entrust this strategic project to such an experienced Polish technology company," said Marcin Klepacki, director of the TVP Distribution Office, quoted in the release.

Redge Technologies (formerly Atende Software) is a leader in OTT and edge computing technologies in Central and Eastern Europe, present on the market since 2007. The company's flagship solution is Redge Media - an OTT platform available in PaaS and on-premise models, consisting of Service Delivery Platform and Video Delivery Platform, which includes a distributed content distribution system (CDN), created in the edge computing architecture. Redge Technologies has also created Redge Guardian - software to mitigate multi-terabit DDoS attacks.
