Polimex-Mostostal’s ambition is to approach PLN 3 billion in revenues in 2022

Polimex-Mostostal has the ambition to generate revenues of almost PLN 3 billion in 2022 compared to PLN 2.3 billion last year, said Maciej Korniluk, vice president.

“Our aspirations are greater. Due to the fact that the project at Dolna Odra power plant has entered into implementation, this year our ambition is to approach the level of almost PLN 3 billion,
”Korniluk said during a press conference. He emphasized that in 2021, the consolidated revenues of Polimex amounted to PLN 2,304 million and were 43% higher y / y. He also informed that Polimex’s order backlog currently amounts to PLN 5.3bn.

“We are here to improve the group’s financial situation and we are also counting on an improvement in the result. Of course, here a lot depends on the ongoing contracting and optimization that are happening on projects, especially strategic ones, i.e. those related to energy infrastructure. And we’ll see what the time will bring. We do not see a catastrophic situation here or factors that would indicate a diametrical deterioration of financial results “- added the vice-president, when asked about the outlook for results in 2022.

In the presentation, the company announced that the value of the currently offered projects is PLN 18,010 million gross. The priority projects include the construction of the Veolia Nowa Energia thermal waste treatment installation in Łódź, gas and steam units in Rybnik and Gdynia, and the expansion of OSBL for the Olefina III installation at PKN Orlen, mentioned President Krzysztof Figat.

Polimex Mostostal is an engineering and construction company active on the market since 1945. Together with the companies forming the Polimex CG, it provides general contracting services for many industries, including energy, chemistry, refining and petrochemical industry and environmental protection. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 2,304 million in 2021.
