Polcom wants to continue the over 30% dynamics of growth in sales of cloud services

Polcom wants to continue the over 30% growth rate of sales of cloud computing services this year thanks to the company's intensive development on global markets, including in Australia as well as North and South America, said Marcin Gwóźdź, president of Polcom, to ISBtech.

"Polcom, as one of the leading cloud providers for business in Poland, has been supporting companies for many years, incl. by maintaining even the most critical IT systems of enterprises, key in terms of management, logistics, finance and production. The company provides services to over 400 entities in Poland and around the world. At the same time, international expansion is an element of the current strategy, the aim of which is even more dynamic development of the company. Polcom systematically - year on year - records an increase in sales of cloud computing services by over 30%. The company's strategy for this year assumes minimum results at a similar level as in 2021, although the plans are much more ambitious. This is due to, inter alia, intensive development of the company on global markets, including Australia and North and South America, ”said ISBtech Gwóźdź.

He added that Polcom carries out a number of investments taking into account, inter alia, expansion of the company's service platform and data center. Only in the first quarter of 2022, the expenditure for this purpose amounted to over PLN 8 million, and by the end of the year it will be over PLN 15 million.

The President of Polcom emphasized that his company does not compete in Poland and in the world in the field of public but private cloud, i.e. it provides specific computing resources for a given organization, approaching it in terms of design. Here is based, inter alia, on Intel Xeon solutions. As a result, all actions and proposals are "tailor-made" for a given company.

Polcom has been operating on the Polish and international market for over 30 years. Currently, Polcom is the leader of the Polish cloud computing market, providing primarily IT outsourcing services, including computing power sharing services based on a team of its own data processing centers.
