Poczta Polska, as a result of the tender procedure, was selected to provide logistics services for domestic, municipal and foreign courier shipments of the PKP Purchasing Group for the next two years, Poczta announced.
The extensive structure of PKP companies is a very big challenge in terms of logistics, both in the context of maintaining safety standards and the timeliness of services provided, it was underlined.
“Poczta Polska sees the potential of many different market sectors in which it wishes to effectively compete as a logistics partner. One of them is railways. Increasing the market share in the field of e-commerce is one of the main strategic goals of the company. Soon we will be ready with the presentation of new solutions that will help us systematically achieve this goal, ”said the president of Poczta Polska, Tomasz Zdzikot.
As reported, Poczta Polska, which has been cooperating with PKP companies for over 12 years, not only in the field of courier services, currently performs contracts for: universal services, payments to bank accounts, printing and packaging services, digital services, i.e. electronic and insurance invoices.
