PlayWay had PLN 127.15 million in net profit, and PLN 154.19 million iin EBITDA in 2021

PlayWay recorded PLN 127.15 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2021 against PLN 199.96 million of profit a year earlier, the company said in the report.

The operating profit amounted to PLN 153.52 million versus PLN 118.07 million profit a year earlier. The EBITDA result reached PLN 154.19 million compared to PLN 118.79 million a year earlier.

Consolidated sales revenues amounted to PLN 234.09 million in 2021 compared to PLN 164.07 million a year earlier.

“In 2022, the group will continue to search for game ideas, research interest in games through numerous marketing channels, and continue to produce or develop games that have won the favor of players. Games that meet with less interest will be developed in new, less experienced teams. [...] Continuations of the most important games from the group are currently in preparation, but detailed information about them will be provided closer to the planned dates of premieres. In 2023, the premiere of the game 'House Flipper 2' is planned - on Steam and consoles. In 2022, the group is planning numerous premieres, which can bring first profits for the young companies of the group and their teams and help in their further development, "wrote President Krzysztof Kostowski in a letter to shareholders.

On a standalone basis, the net profit in 2021 amounted to PLN 126.88 million, compared to PLN 84.09 million of profit a year earlier.

PlayWay, which debuted on the WSE main market in 2016, is an incubator for development teams that create computer and mobile games based on their own ideas and ideas developed at the company's headquarters.
