PKP PLK announces huge Logistics Park connecting to China and Japan

The Provincial Office in Lublin issued a decision on the construction permit for the Małaszewicze Logistics Park, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported. The investment, which is being carried out by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP PLK) in cooperation with the Cargotor company from the PKP Cargo Group, will make it possible to increase trade in goods between the countries of Europe and Asia, was emphasized.

“The issuance of a building permit is a milestone in preparations for the creation of a Logistics Park in Małaszewicze. PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe and the Cargotor company are ready to start field work. We are determined to complete this investment, which is extremely important for the Polish economy and eastern Poland, “said Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Bittel, quoted in the material.

The Małaszewicze Logistics Park, which will be built in the municipalities of Terespol, Zalesie and Piszczac, is ultimately to be the most modern and largest transshipment hub in Europe. It is a key place on the New Silk Road linking Asia with the Old Continent. It is here that European recipients will receive loads transported by rail from China, Japan or South Korea.
