GoldenPeaks Capital (GPC) financed a portfolio of photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 72 MWp, located in various regions of Poland. The financing package was provided by PKO Bank Polski and DNB Bank ASA, the company announced.
The “Charlie” portfolio consists of 55 individual solar projects ranging in size from 1 MWp to 8 MWp, located throughout Poland. Throughout its lifetime, the portfolio will use a euro-denominated power purchase agreement, it said.
“GPC has strengthened its position in Poland and as an experienced supplier of long-term, euro-denominated PPAs (power purchase agreements) for the world’s leading international corporations. The ‘Charlie’ portfolio is an example of our ability to make these projects profitable. We are glad that partners such as PKO Bank Polski and DNB support us in achieving our goal of accelerating the region’s transition to renewable energy,” said GPC President Daniel Tain, quoted in the release.
