PJP Makrum hopes to expand its operations in the machinery and equipment segment

Thanks to the acquisition of IPZ – Inicjatywa Północno Zachodnia “PW” – a leader in the forklift truck industry – PJP Makrum hopes to expand its operations in the machinery and equipment segment, the company announced.

“PJP Makrum S.A. informed in the current report about the purchase of 100% of shares in IPZ – Inicjatywa Północno Zachodnia ‘PW’ Sp. z o. o. based in Kołbaskowo. The acquisition of the forklift sales leader in the northern part of Poland will allow the company to expand its operations in the machinery and equipment segment.

PJP Makrum has been operating in the field of warehouse equipment since 2020, when it purchased a Bydgoszcz company dealing in the sale and service of forklifts. Since then, this activity has been developed under the Promstahl subsidiary, under the Promlift product brand. It sells both own-brand and world-leading forklifts, as well as service, rental and spare parts. Promlift’s offer also includes other elements of warehouse equipment, such as shelves and wardrobes.

The activity of the PJP Makrum Industrial Group is carried out in three areas: production of steel structures, commercial construction and handling systems. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1999. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 312.07 million in 2021.
