PGNiG will supply natural gas to Commercial Metals Company Poland

Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG) and Commercial Metals Company Poland (CMC Poland) have signed a long-term contract for the sale of natural gas. The maximum volume of deliveries from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2027 may amount to 400 million cubic meters. fuel – reports PGNiG.

Thanks to this, we perfectly understand the needs of our client and the challenges faced by the metallurgical industry in the period of high volatility of raw material prices on the markets. The individual and flexible solutions contained in the contract are provided by CMC Poland, among others the possibility of securing the purchase price of natural gas based on exchange instruments, which allows to minimize the effect of market fluctuations. The signing of a new contract confirms the attractiveness of our commercial offer,” said Paweł Majewski, President of PGNiG.
