“Poland is trusted by American investors. We are creating the best possible investment climate”, said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Thursday during the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the PepsiCo factory in Święta (Lower Silesia). The PM felt the need to speak out and speak up, due to the recent turmoil over TVN’s pending loss of its broadcasting rights.
The investment in the subzone of the Legnica Special Economic Zone near Środa Śląska is to cost PLN 1 billion and will be built in stages by 2025. It will create 450 jobs, and the products manufactured in the plant will be exported to over 20 European countries. The facility is to be very green and, as stated, “will be climate neutral by 2035 and will use the latest technology in the field of sustainable development.”
“The investment of a concern such as PepsiCo is proof of the confidence of American investors”, said Morawiecki.
