Pepco opened its first store in Germany and is present in 16 countries

Pepco Group opened its first store in Germany, the company said. Later this year, the chain will open more stores in other locations. The brand will further expand its presence in eastern Germany.

The Pepco chain has 2,700 stores across Europe, and Germany is the 16th country in which the chain operates. The stores are located in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain, and this year they will also open in Greece.

“We are happy to announce that Germany has joined the countries in which Pepco operates. We will develop and open our stores where customers need us, close to their homes, so that everyone can dress up their family and decorate and furnish their home at good prices, ”said Pepco's retail director Aleksandr Cikaidze, quoted in the material.

Pepco Group operates in two market segments: through PEPCO (a chain of multi-branch discount stores) and Poundland / Dealz (a chain of stores operating in the model of impulse purchases of groceries, general purpose, seasonal and basic necessities sold in the uniform price formula). The company made its debut on the WSE in May 2021.
