Chinese Oppo to establish regional structures for CEE in Warsaw

Oppo will create regional structures for Central and Eastern Europe based in Warsaw, the company said. They currently cover 11 countries, a test center in Romania and production plants in Turkey.

Oppo is a Chinese Smartphone and consumer electronics brand that was founded in Dongguan, China in 2001.

Oppo’s operating headquarters for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region is located in Warsaw. It is headed by Johnny Zhang. Oppo emphasized the importance of this region for its further plans by investing in a production plant in Turkey, where 800 employees will produce Reno and A-series smartphones, and in a test center in Romania, which is another proof of the company’s long-term commitment in the region.

“Today we announce the culmination of over two years of hard work to build our presence in the region. Central and Eastern Europe is of particular importance to Oppo, as evidenced by significant and continuous local investments. In addition, our products, and in particular smartphones, have been very positively received by users in the region, ”said President of Oppo CEE Johnny Zhang.
