Nexera has acquired fiber optic infrastructure from Fan-Tex

Nexera purchased its fiber-optic infrastructure from Fan-Tex, operating in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, said the announcement. The acquired network covers several thousand households located in the poviats of Ełk and Olecki.

"The contract was signed in May this year. and it is the fifth such transaction of the wholesale fiber operator. The earth network acquired by Nexera will cover over 11,000 households in and around Ełk, Olecko and Kowale Oleckie. The length of the infrastructure taken over is over 140 km ”- we read in the press release.

“When selecting contractors, we focus primarily on proven, locally operating partners. Purchases and integration of the existing fiber-optic infrastructure are, apart from own investments, a key element in the development of the Nexera access network. As a result of the acquisition of the Fan-Tex network, more households from the Warmia and Mazury Region were within our reach, ”said Jacek Wiśniewski, president of Nexera, quoted in the announcement.

Nexera sp.z o.o., a wholesale telecommunications operator that develops a high-speed fiber optic access network (NGA), is a joint venture of Infracapital, a European infrastructure fund with significant experience in investments in the telecommunications sector and Nokia, which have joined forces to build a technologically advanced fiber network in Poland.
