ML Systems has a value of PLN 44.2 million for the supply of equipment for Active Glass

ML System has concluded a PLN 44.2 million net contract with Servitech for the supply and launch of a system for preparing edge absorbing layers as part of the Active Glass production line, the company said.

“We have already contracted the vast majority of machines and equipment for the Active Glass production line (quantum fire-resistant double glazing). The project is progressing according to the schedule, we will start production next year. We dynamise investments to enter 2024 with full production capacity for the solutions of the 'new quantum era'. We hope that these products will be the driving force behind our company, ”said the president of ML System, Dawid Cycoń, quoted in the press release.

The subject of the Active Glass project is the implementation of the production of an innovative composite glass that generates electricity with mass application in the construction and automotive industries. Thanks to the possibility of personalizing the shape, the proposed solution will be used in all types of glazing and fixing systems. Ultimately, the panes will also have a fire protection function - they have already passed fire resistance tests. The combinations met all the requirements for the EI30 class, i.e. they showed the ability to stop the fire from getting through the partition within min. 30 minutes also indicated.

The total value of this project is PLN 147.4 million, of which PLN 88.5 million is a grant from the European Union.

ML System is a specialized technology company offering innovative photovoltaic solutions integrated with the construction industry (BIPV). ML System products are an alternative to traditional building materials. The company has been listed on the WSE main market since 2018. In 2021, it had PLN 189 million of consolidated revenues.
