Mercator Medical had an estimated net profit of PLN 8.2 million, and EBITDA of PLN 18.7 million in Q1.

Mercator Medical achieved PLN 8.2 million of consolidated net profit in Q1 2022 (compared to PLN 286.6 million profit a year earlier) and PLN 18.7 million of EBITDA profit (compared to PLN 301.6 million a year earlier), the company announced , presenting preliminary, estimated data.

"Mercator Medical [...] estimates that in the first quarter of 2022 the issuer's group achieved the following financial results:

1) consolidated sales revenues: PLN 140.2 million, compared to PLN 551.6 million in Q1 2021 and PLN 278.3 million in Q4 2021;

2) consolidated EBITDA: PLN 18.7 million, compared to PLN 301.6 million in Q1 2021 and PLN 4.7 million in Q4 2021;

3) consolidated net profit: PLN 8.2 million, compared to PLN 286.6 million of net profit in Q1 2021 and PLN 4.9 million of net profit in Q4 2021. " - we read in the announcement.

As at March 31, 2022, the group had approximately PLN 516.7 million of net cash and other financial assets.

“The level of revenues reflects the redirection of a significant part of production to its own distribution segment. In turn, despite the unfavorable market environment with a large supply of gloves on the global market and cost pressure, including in the area of ​​raw materials and sea freight, we achieved positive financial results. This is good news for sure. The presented results are also clearly better than in the corresponding period of 2019 "- commented Michał Romański, Member of the Management Board for Financial Affairs, quoted in the material.

The final financial results for the first quarter will be included in the periodic report, the publication of which is scheduled for May 17 this year.
