Medinice has a contract with a subcontractor for the implementation of the EP Bioptom project

Medinice has signed a research and development agreement with a German subcontractor for the EP Bioptom project, Medinice reported. The value of the contract is approx. EUR 1 million.

“Several foreign entities have approached us. We bet, in my opinion rightly, on a partner from Germany. It is an experienced entity with valuable skills in prototyping and creating complex medical devices, also in the field of cardiology. We will cooperate on one of our key projects called EP Bioptom. I trust that thanks to our partner’s large production capacity, including an appropriate base of raw materials and components, we will be able to significantly accelerate the implementation of this project,” said President Sanjeev Choudhary, quoted in the release.

EP Bioptom is a project co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development, and the value of R&D works is almost PLN 5.4 million. The aim of the project is to develop an electrophysiological bioptome for endocardial myocardial biopsy guided by 3D electroanatomical mapping. The product will be used during myocardial biopsy, which is a test that allows morphological, immunohistological and structural tests to be performed in an electron microscope.
