Polish warehouse and industrial developer MDC2 has secured a site for the development of a 65,000 sqm distribution centre south of Łódź.
The 14.3 ha site is located at the junction of the A1 motorway (connecting Gdańsk with the Czech border) and national roads 91 and 12 in Głuchów, about 25 km south of Łódź city centre.
“MDC2 Park Łódź South will provide an excellent logistics hub for large/medium size operators which look for direct access to all parts of Poland. The buildings are designed to meet the growing requirements for logistics projects to cater for the needs of occupiers and its employees, for example the site will offer an outdoor gym, relaxation and wellness area for everyone to enjoy.” said Adrian Winiarek, the development director of MDC2.
The completion of the project has been scheduled for Q3 2022. It is to be BREEAM New Construction certified at the ‘Excellent’ level.
