The Maspex Group and its Tymbark brand have started an investment aimed at building a modern logistics and warehouse center in the Tymbark commune. The expansion of the warehouse structure means not only internal improvements, but also at least 40 new jobs, the Maspex Group reported. The investment completion date is planned for the end of 2024. The Maspex Group has planned investment expenditures in the years 2023-2025 in the total amount of approx. PLN 1.1 billion.
“As the Maspex Group, in the next three years (2023-2025), we will spend about PLN 1.1 billion on production, logistics and pro-environmental investments. These are planned investments,” Dorota Liszka, director of communication and public affairs of the Maspex Group, told ISBnews.
On the occasion of this particular investment, the Tymbark Commune will also receive a new Park-and-Ride car park near the station at ul. Armii Krajowej, financed from Tymbark’s company funds, as one of the elements of the regional investment, stated in the release.
“The logistics and warehouse center in Tymbark is the completion of a certain logical investment sequence of the last few years. After expanding the pressing plant, installing several new bottling lines and starting the construction of the production hall, the time has come for the last element of the plant – the warehouse. Thanks to good cooperation and understanding on the part of the Commune Self-Government, we can achieve a synergy effect. Together with the investments, we will achieve growth and stabilization of employment, and the commune will achieve a new parking lot with a pedestrian and bicycle route, included in the planned railway investment” – said Dariusz Czech, general director of Zakłady Beverages, quoted in the release.
“The new investment of the Maspex Group in Tymbark is also important from the point of view of the socio-economic development of our commune. Thanks to it, the commune will gain a car park with 70 parking spaces located in the immediate vicinity of the planned stop of the Podłęże-Piekiełko railway line. This car park will eventually serve as a Park and Ride for the new railway line. The new section of the municipal road will be built together with a pedestrian and bicycle route. The perspective of entrepreneurship development is also important for the commune and its residents, which is why we understood the need to build a logistics and warehouse center by Tymbark,” added Paweł Ptaszek, the mayor of the Tymbark commune.
