LW Bogdanka had PLN 123.52 million in net profit, PLN 259.29 million in EBITDA in Q4 2021

Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka (LW Bogdanka) recorded PLN 123.52 million of consolidated net profit in Q4 2021 compared to PLN 38.12 million profit a year earlier, the company said in the report.

The operating profit amounted to PLN 154 million compared to PLN 44.5 million profit a year earlier. EBITDA profit amounted to PLN 259.29 million compared to PLN 148.52 million a year earlier.

Consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 702.8 million in Q4 2021 compared to PLN 468.58 million a year earlier.

"The EBITDA result in the fourth quarter of 2021 increased by 74.6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 and amounted to 259 292 thousand. zloty. The EBITDA profitability in the fourth quarter of 2021 was higher than that achieved in the corresponding period of 2020 and amounted to 36.9%. In 2021, the Group achieved EBITDA profitability of 33.6%, i.e. by 8 percentage points. more than in 2020 " - we read in the management report.

The company's share in coal supplies to the commercial power industry in Poland is currently over 29%. This situation is also the result of taking advantage of the market opportunities that appeared in the second half of 2021.
