LPP Logistics will open a distribution center in Romania with an area of 65 thousand m2 by the end of the year

LPP Logistics plans to launch a new distribution center in Romania with an area of 65,000 sqm. m2 by the end of this year, the company announced.


“According to the investor’s expectations, the center will start operating at the end of 2023. The facility will allow for the storage of approx. 35 million items of clothing and accessories for approx. 45,000 square meters. pallet spaces and shipment of 3.7 million items of assortment per week. Thanks to the use of optimal process and technological solutions, the facility will also act as a cross-dock hub for some deliveries from Poland,” reads the release.

The location of the new investment will allow servicing 450 showrooms of the group’s clothing brands in Romania, as well as Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia and Greece.

“Operations in the new distribution center will be supported, among others, by automatic sorter with a length of 140 m, on which it will be possible to sort goods for up to 450 stationary stores at the same time. The device is a unique solution developed by a team of engineers together with a Dutch supplier. (…),” said Sebastian Sołtys, Vice-President of LPP Logistics, quoted in the release.

The LPP Logistics operator does not exclude the possibility of searching for areas where it could use its logistics and storage potential for external entities.

LPP manages the Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay fashion brands. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2001.
