LPP Logistics has opened the largest fulfillment Center in the distribution network in Pruszcz Gdański

LPP Logistics - LPP logistics operator - has opened a new Fulfillment Center in Panattoni Park Tricity South II in Pruszcz Gdański. The facility provided by Panattoni, which will ultimately generate up to 2,000 new jobs, will be dedicated to e-commerce services and is currently the largest warehouse of this type in the distribution network of the LPP Group, LPP Logistics and Panattoni reported in a joint statement.

On the area of ​​a total of 64 thousand. m2, the facility will accommodate up to 6 million items of clothing and accessories, and thanks to the use of modern technologies and advanced warehouse automation, it will be able to implement up to 100 thousand. shipments per day and the same number of returns. The investment supports the distribution of online orders to the Group's customers in Poland, Germany, Ukraine, the Baltic States, Italy and Spain, it said.

"Thanks to the location of the new facility near the LPP Logistics Distribution Center in Pruszcz Gdański, which, in addition to supplying the group's stores, also handles deliveries to the Fulfillment Centers network, we are able to ensure the liquidity of goods in the distribution chain, and at the same time implement the concept of logistics network development in accordance with the omnichannel strategy of LPP "- said the president of LPP Logistics, Jacek Kujawa, quoted in the press release.
