Wind farms: The wind farm generation record was broken on January 4 – at At 6:45 p.m. they worked with a capacity of 7,600 MW (previous record on April 5, 2022 at 00:15 – 7,205 MW), the Polish Energy Networks (PSE) reported.

Columbus Energy: Subsidiaries made an early and final repayment of credit liabilities towards banking institutions in the amount of PLN 8.9 million, incurred to finance VAT as part of investments related to the construction of photovoltaic farms, Columbus Energy reported

BO Energy: The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) imposed a fine of over PLN 28 million on BO Energy (formerly FG Energy); Practices questioned include: making it difficult for consumers to withdraw from the contract free of charge, misleading them as to cooperation with the Ministry of Climate and Environment and as to the free audit, the Office reported. The company will have to return money to consumers who have withdrawn from the contract.

PGF: 2ND Square LTD with its registered office in Singapore has purchased over 11.8 million series A subscription warrants from PGF Polska Grupa Fotowoltaiczna, entitling to take up 11.8 million shares, the company announced. The investor took advantage of this right and acquired 11.8 million securities (at PLN 1 per share), which will be granted upon registration of the shares in the National Depository for Securities. Before the event, 2ND Square held 21.49 million shares in PGF Polska Grupa Fotowoltaiczna, which accounted for 24.51% of the company’s share capital.

Sunex: Unit sales revenues amounted to PLN 75.09 million in Q4 2022 and were higher by 96% yoy. Cumulatively since the beginning of the year, unit revenues increased by 121.2% y/y to PLN 271.54 million.

CONTRACTS AND IMPLEMENTATIONS

PGE: The PGE Group has received a permit to build a 50 MW Kleszczów photovoltaic farm, which will be built in the Łódź Voivodeship by the end of 2024 on 50 ha of land belonging to the Kleszczów commune, the company announced.

Green Bank: mBank and Green Bank – a company operating in the renewable energy sector – concluded an agreement worth PLN 220 million to finance 69 MW of solar farms, the company announced.
