Largest tiles from Starachowice

Tile manufacturer Cerrad has opened a PLN 120 mln plant in Starachowice for the launch onto the Polish market of the largest grès stoneware tiles now available in the country.
According to Cerrad, the new, fully-automated plant is one most advanced ceramic tile factories in the world. This is the third production plant Cerrad has opened in Starachowice. The 32,000 sqm plant facility will employ 80 people for the manufacture of 4 mln sqm of tiles a year.
“The new factory is the result of our continuing development strategy to invest in infrastructure and technology, the main goal of which is to offer customers innovative products that set trends in interior design. I have no doubt that the 160 x 320 cm grès tiles in our latest Ultime collection, which have dimensions unprecedented on the Polish market, are such a product,” claims Paweł Bąk, the CEO of Cerrad.
The production of grès tiles has already started in the new factory.
