The shipyard from Giżycko – Lamdo Yachts has signed a dealership contract with an American contractor, with the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), the Agency reported.
“Our company is developing very quickly, less than eight months ago the first model left the production hall. The fair in Miami, which is one of the largest in the world, is a perfect place for us to promote and acquire new customers. As a new Polish yacht manufacturer, we established many interesting relationships, held a lot of meetings, answered a lot of questions. Thanks to PAIH, we took the first step in the United States, a breakthrough for the entire company,” said the owner of Lamdo Yachts Błażej Predko, quoted in the release.
As indicated by the head of the Foreign Trade Office (ZBH) of PAIH in Chicago, Michał Rzeźnik, there are over 1,000 companies operating in the Polish yacht and boat industry. companies that employ approx. 45 thousand people employees, in 2022 they built nearly 25 thousand. vessels – the most in the world, and the United States is their main foreign recipient.
“Many of these units are built in dozens of small and medium-sized shipyards employing several or a dozen people. It is even more gratifying that Polish companies use the support of PAIH and present their offer during leading trade fairs, and consequently sign sales contracts,” added Rzeźnik.
The yacht and boat sector is one of the 12 priority industries for the Polish economy, the Agency said.
Lamdo Yachts is the first Polish manufacturer of exclusive Trawler motor yachts.
