Kruk buys PLN 1.3 billion of debt from Polish bank

Kruk’s subsidiary Prokura NS FIZ has received information about a positive decision by the management board of one of Poland’s largest banks to enter into a debt assignment agreement regarding the purchase of a portfolio of unsecured retail receivables with a nominal value of ca. PLN 543m and a portfolio of unsecured receivables of small and medium-sized enterprises with a value of ca. PLN 730m, Kruk said.

“This is another very good piece of information in the area of investments, coming this time from the Polish market. We have already started working on the smooth finalization of the purchase of the portfolio from one of Poland’s leading banks. The unsecured retail and SME receivables with a total nominal value of PLN 1.3bn will add to Kruk’s existing strong assets.” – said CEO Piotr Krupa.

The Company will announce the deal in a separate report as soon as it is concluded, it added.
