KGHM Zanam increased its net profit to PLN 26 million in 2021

KGHM Zanam - a supplier and service technician of mining machinery from the KGHM Group - reported a net profit of PLN 26 million in 2021 (compared to approximately PLN 21 million profit a year earlier) with revenues of PLN 817 million, the company said. Last year's EBITDA was PLN 59 million.

“We achieved high financial results mainly due to the improvement of the efficiency of production processes and optimization of the company's operations. We constantly conduct dialogue with the social side to the benefit of both parties. In the time of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, we managed to avoid a production slowdown while maintaining a high level of sanitary safety of employees. Our priority was to ensure the safety and health of our staff "- commented the President of KGHM Zanam Bernard Cichocki, quoted in the release.

Last year the robotization of KGHM Zanam was also started. A welding robot was purchased and put into operation, which is used to automate technological processes, while increasing production efficiency and work safety. In addition, the company acquired a modern demolition robot with a hybrid drive, the task of which is to increase the efficiency of repairs also with a significant increase in service safety, is also mentioned in the information.

KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. is the owner of 100% of the company's shares.
