Kęty Group is interested in acquisitions in Europe

Grupa Kęty is interested in acquisitions on the European market that will allow it to have a clear presence in Europe, CEO Dariusz Mańko said.

“We are interested in European destinations that will allow us to become strongly enough present in these countries to be able to talk about the share of Grupa Kęty in these markets,” he said. – Mańko said during the teleconference.

Among the potential acquisition destinations, he mentioned the UK, Germany, the Benelux countries, France, Spain and the Balkans.

At the same time, he assured that the company has a high creditworthiness, so it will have no difficulty financing acquisition plans.

“Personally, I would prefer investments that are not very large in size, of the order of 50-100 million euros, because this allows for the rapid integration of the acquired company into the group’s structures, although we are just starting work, perhaps a well-organized [larger] entity will appear, not requiring a large adaptation commitment, I do not rule this out either.” – The CEO added.

The Kęty Group is the parent company for the capital group, which operates through three operating segments: Extruded Products Segment (EPS) Aluminum Systems Segment (ASS) and Flexible Packaging Segment (FPS). The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1996, with consolidated sales revenues reaching PLN 5.93 billion in 2022.
